EBONY WILLIAMS, LMFT is a Black, queer, first generation woman who is also a licensed marriage and family therapist, social emotional healing arts instructor, and a trauma-informed yoga teacher. Ebony earned a Masters of Fine Arts from The California Institute of the Arts and Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in African American Family Studies. Ebony is a trauma specialist who practices LGBTQIA+ affirming and culturally humble therapy. She has worked with children and families, adults, trauma survivors, and folks across the spectrum of mental health, identity, and experience. Currently, Ebony has a private therapy practice offering individual, couples, and group work that aims to be trauma-reducing and healing centered. Ebony is also the founder of Root Wellness Healing, a leadership and organizational wellness consulting practice. She teaches through the Arts and Healing Initiative and formerly as an adjunct professor at Pacific Oaks College Cultural Psychology Masters Program. Ebony is a mother of two beautiful children and the founder of Cactus In Bloom.
